A combined water heating system using AC and DC.
Water heaters LX ACDC/M+K are designed for heating by using both sources of energy. The stable source, AC from the grid, continuously heats the water in the heater based on the temperature controlled by a thermoregulator T1. In general the temperature of 45 °C is recommended. After reaching the requested temperature the thermoregulator switches off. Then water heating is done by DC which is controlled by a thermoregulator T2. The recommended maximum temperature is 75°C. If the water temperature falls below 45°C both AC and DC heat up very quickly and efficiently.
Water heaters LXACDC/M+K(W) A,B,C are supplied with a multi-purpose DC convector which enables a connection of all three options of output – A, B and C through a mechanic interconnection of the incoming conductor directly on a body. In the production the body is always connected to 2kW (8 pcs of panels). If you use a smaller number of panels (4 pcs = 1.0kW or 6 pcs = 1.5 kW) it is necessary to switch the incoming conductor over the body, including a green pilot-light for the correct outlet from the body. After reaching the set temperature in the heater, the heater can redirect DC to another device (e.g. additional heater) or DC/AC convertor which supplies the electricity to the grid.
